Surrounded by the emblematic peaks of the eastern Pyrenees  (the Col Rouge, the Carlit Peak), this resort also offers an exceptional view of the whole Cerdan plateau. Font-Romeu/Pyrénées 2000, an exceptional Catalan domaine, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park, near Spain and Andorra, is famous for its sunshine (325 days/year).

This domain is also well-known thanks to its 500 snow cannons which, distributed over the whole ski area, guarantees an optimal snow cover. It is also a mecca for sport training and mountaineering training courses. Many athletes come here each year to benefit from the many Olympic installations with which the resort is equipped (30x60m ice rink , 25 and 50m swimming pools, athletics stadium, horse riding centre…).
