From Saturday 6 July 2024 , the La Gallina mountain restaurant will be welcoming hikers to the rando-resto!
Situated at an altitude of over 2,000 metres on the Gallinera plateau, the restaurant is accessible to all, young and old, sports enthusiasts or contemplative types, following the slopes or with the help of the ski lifts. On the menu until 1 September 2024: Catalan grills, mixed salads, traditional dishes, pies... to make your walk a little more enjoyable. And as well as tantalising the taste buds, La Gallina will delight the eyes with its panoramic terrace offering a breathtaking view of the Carlit massif and the entire Sierra del Cadi, the natural border with Spain. More than just good food, it's an invitation to get away from it all...
- For those with a sweet tooth: meet at the Airelles car park to board the 6-seater chairlift that will take you directly to the high altitude restaurant on the Gallinera plateau. Once you've had your fill, enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Cerdan plateau from the comfort of your chairlift seat as you make your way back to your starting point.
- For the Contemplative: Take the Roc chairlift up to the highest point in the resort at over 2,200 metres. Once up there, it's a 20-minute walk to the restaurant. Once you've had your fill, a short descent down the Mouillère piste will take you back to your starting point. It's the ideal mix for an effortless gourmet hike!
- For sporty types: With your hiking boots on or on your bike, you can reach the restaurant from the Col del Pam, Les Airelles or La Calme car parks. Go up the slopes in the ski area, they all lead to Le Gallinera!
