Small steps, big discoveries: An educational trail in marmot country!
From 6 July, young and old explorers alike can set off to discover the flora and fauna of the mountains. The Grignotte la Marmotte trails are walks punctuated by hands-on learning of good practices and guided exploration of biodiversity. The high point of this epic journey: discover our marmot families in their natural habitat from the wooden observatories!
This summer, come along with your family or friends and discover the fauna, flora and our marmots around the Gallinera on the "Grignotte la Marmotte" educational trail.

Access and rates
The trail is accessible free of charge to all hikers passing through Gallinera.
You can also access the site by taking the Airelles chairlift.
- Adult rate for 1 return lift ticket: 8.60€.
- Youth/student* rate for 1 lift: 7.30€.
- Children (under 5) 1 lift: Free*.
- Tribe offer* 1 lift: 7.30€ per person
You can also access the site by taking the Airelles Express gondola and then the Airelles chairlift.
- Adult 2-lift return ticket: €12.00
- Youth/student* rate for 2 lifts: 10.20€.
- Children (under 5) 2 lift passes: Free*.
- Tribe offer* 2 lifts: 10.20€ per person

- Thanks to Grignotte the marmot's explorer's guide, take part in the Grignotte Quiz, by answering the questions on each panel along the way.
- Check the weather forecast before setting off (the weather changes quickly in the mountains).
- Wear the right shoes - flip-flops are for the beach, we don't want to see your toes!
- Take sun protection equipment (sunglasses/sun cream/cap).
